Growth
I am the man that grew from the seed that fell from the tree outside of a bar
I grew not unlike that tree that planted the seed in backseat of an 82 car
The tree took resposibility for me and the wife that came to be but he did not take it far
For when I was three he left the wife and me the seed and pretended he didn't know who we are
I hated that tree for abandoning me with a fire too painful to mention
So for 12 years I ruffled the leaves of that tree just for a little attention
At 15 the tree took me his old seed to live with his new seeds and gentian
For three years me the first seed made the life of the tree nothing but stress, hate, and tension
At 18 the tree made it up to me by being around when i was alone
Cause as I sat in the cell of a jail for distributing weed only the tree picked up the phone
And the tree did everything for me his seed to ensure the cell wouldn't be home
Now the tree and me the seed still have our beef but the branches between us have grown
