Potentially Dope
Area51 – He’s an up ‘n comer who’s only recently been showing off his skills. Has a really tough battle against Hensley this week, which I don’t expect him to win, but he could make a name for himself by dropping a hard verse.
David Lama – Picked up a couple of easy wins so far, but he has the hardest battle of his tenure as of yet, in butler. Can we do it? Well, he has before, but he’ll have to drop tight as hell to pick up the win again this time.
Mercules – Merc’s been inconsistent for most of his text career, he can beat the dopest heads, but then he always seems to slip up against lesser known ones. He has the skills to beat Sound this week, but I’m not sure if he will.
Pharoahe Def – The last ever WBL champion in the old WBL, so that shows he’s nice. It’s kinda weird him signing in, cos I was jus talking about him a couple of days back. About how at one point he was champ of the WBL, champ of the HBL and in the championship match of the RBL. If he’d of won the RBL match he’d have been champ of all 3 leagues at once, something that had never ever been done. Sadly, he was facin butler ‘n he lost. But still, that shows how good he is. Or was, he’s a bit rusty from what I last saw of him, so let’s hope he shakes it off quick ‘n starts droppin fire again.
Roger Glocks – He seems to be going through a dry patch lately, ‘n he himself even says so. He’s nice though, so once he shakes that off then he should be droppin cool again.
Spit That – Narrowly lost to Nique but his past accomplishments show that he’s tight. If he shows up this week then he should be moving up the rankings again.
Sound – Dropped out of the power rankings due to the amount of competition in them, but I’m expecting him to beat Mercules and move right up in there again. He’s been getting better every week as well.
Te Ora – He dropped a cool verse against kung last week, but still got beaten. He had that dope as hell algebra punch though, ‘n if he can come with a couple more of those haymakers then he’ll be ill.
Top 10 Power Rankings

John Hensley – He’s dropped below butler due to his verse last week, which he rushed ‘n turned out to be not very great. Still, it’s a small blip ‘n he’ll win this week to move up the ranks.

butler – He’s still dropping the creative stuff even though he doesn’t really need to lately, he’s had some easy opponents. That changes this week against Lama though, so he’ll have to drop cool in that battle.

ill nik-A – nik-A’s come back after what seemed like a hiatus, ‘n he’s been dropping cool. Dude’s nice with it, but he’s got a tough battle against Nique this week, so we’ll have to see how he’ll do against her.
7.
Nique – She’s a nice head and she’s been dropping some cool stuff. She’ll have to have a few haymakers to get past nik-A, but she’s capable and I think she’ll be able to do it.
6.
N.Tavarez – I’ve got him this low as I don’t see him beating Gunslinger. He probably has the skill to, but after Gunslinger’s verse last week I don’t see him doing it. He’s a nice head though ‘n could surprise me.
5.
F5TH Dawg – F5TH is a potentially dope head, well, he’s very good anyway, but he’s still got some experience to gain before he becomes legendary. Can he beat kungfu? I think he can if he comes his best, but he really does have to drop his best.
4.
kungfugrip – Dude’s won some pretty big leagues before in his time, along with champing tournies and stuff, so he’s got the skills definitely. He’s a nice battler and will prob be in the champ match in a couple of weeks.
3.
The Gunslinger – Someone told me that he thought Gunslinger was Lieutenant, so that’s a pretty big compliment, considering Loot had the longest undefeated streak in WBL history. He isn’t Loot though, so it’s cool to see new talent coming through. He’s hella creative, but a bit inconsistent, so he’ll have to improve on that to have a chance of becoming champ.

Justify – He’s earned his place by dropping some pretty cool verses. Dude’s done well to get this far, ‘n he seems to study the game so he’ll improve based off of that as well. Does he have it in him to beat Fracture? We’ll have to see.

Fracture – Yea, he took the title by beating Sound like expected, ‘n he dropped a pretty good verse. He’s seemingly got a few easy enough title defences before facing the tougher competition, so he should be champ for a lil while yet.
Outro
Some dope battles are set up for this week, and the league is the biggest it has ever been I believe. So yea, shits looking hot. The WBL, undoubtedly the best league on the net by so much that it’s really kinda sad that it has no competition. That should be the new tag line for this league, ‘n it’s all down to you, the battlers, for droppin hot and voting well. So mad props to everyone on that. Keep dropping fresh, try your hardest and vote fair. Peace.
