Verses are due July 31st (Thursday) by midnight.
24 hour extensions can be granted by the opponent.
Moderators can overrule battlers in regards to extensions.
New battles will be posted August 3rd (Sunday).

Voting is highly important to this tournament.
Vote on as many battles as possible.

Biting will result in a DQ from the tournament AND a ban from the site.
Biting = stealing other battlers rhymes and pretending they're your own.

Recycling will result in a DQ from your battle.
Recycling = using rhymes you've previously used before.

Feeding will result in 2 deducted votes per fed line.
Feeding = playing off of your opponents verse.

There are no line limits.
You MUST match your opponents amount of lines if they posted first.
However, you may post under what they posted, just not over.

If you post first you cannot edit your verse after your opponent has dropped.
If you post second you cannot edit your verse after a vote has been dropped.

Ok after reading Meths verse I thought DRP would take this simple but it was kinda close IMO I think if DRP would have went 16 it would have been cut and dry Meth seemed to rush his verse which I think hurt him DRP dropped less which hurt him .... but in the end I think DRP just had a more consistant verse... punches were more direct and harsh soo imm vote DRP

methodic- This was an aight verse from you, I saw some decent bars and some good attempts. I also saw some weaker lines, but overall it was an aight verse. You tried out a few nameplays which was good, aswell as a few other things...but none of it was hard hitting. They were still alright punches, but you could up the impact level some.

DateRapePaladin- Your verse came up abit short on the length, and that's somethin that hurt you...why only that long? You had nice flow and structure but I didn't see any hard hits, it was all half assed...and it shows. I was really expecting more from you man, where was your head at this time?

Overall this was still a close battle, and I feel that DRP could've came much harder but he didn't. The shortage on lines didn't hurt him so much as the lazyness did. methodic seemed more hungry this round, and for that he gets my vote

to be truthfull...this battle wasn't to good for me...meth...ur verse wasnt that good at all...your first three lines made me just nod in a bad way. I have seen u come way harder than this son...cmon! U had the potential to run with something good here but i never saw a punch that was original enough to be like "its over!"...knawmean

DRP...ur verse was ok...u tried to get a lil flashy with it, but not many punches hit either...the Kobe line for me took it...he associated it well with hte situation and it made me laugh...the closer was also ok...pretty much enough to get my vote.

Based on that I've got methodic with 1 good line, 2 decent lines and an okish line, and DateRape with 2 good lines and 2 decent lines.

Even though DateRape dropped less I thought he just about took this. He shouldn't have dropped less though, cos methodic almost took it as he dropped a pretty decent verse, he just had too much filler 'n that hurt his verse as a whole.

DateRape doesn't seem that new to battling really, his wording style makes me think that, especially on the 2 good lines I quoted. Yeah, I think he's new to the site as opposed to being new to battling. methodic is elevating a lot, I'm surprised at how much better he's got, so that's a big plus for him.
