An email sent to you must have bounced. You need to have a real working email address on the board; if it bounces then you have to fix it.

I set this policy because if we send too many bounced emails to yahoo/hotmail/etc then our ip address can get blacklisted. It's happened to me before and I don't want it to happen again.

If you have privacy concerns and don't want email from us, then go into your profile and uncheck "receive email from admins" and you won't get any email from us.

In any event we will never spam the board because we would obviously lose a lot of credibility. Right now we're sending out email reminders about the WBL and stuff like that, nothing else.

Let me know if you want me to fix your old account so you can keep using the same username as before.

Oh I see

Apparantly the e-mail in the profile wasn't created. So I made an email with the one that was used to register this account and sent an activation email and activated the account again.
