Future Ape Tapes is a Hip-Hop collective from Athens, Georgia. Not afraid to cross boundaries, we are an experimental group in the tradition of Wu Tang Clan, A Tribe Called Quest, and The Pharcyde.

We tread stealthily yet majestically across ruined hip hop and rock n’ roll, necromancing the remains of self-destructive indie rockers and turning them to freak rap mutations, freestyling over any beat that moves, from psychedelic house and reggae to sampled Frank Zappa and Panda Bear.
