EDIT I took off corey's last line I had quoted, the lugnut one. It was ok really, idk what I was thinking. However, the lines that I felt from rich's verse were strong, but I feel like hops had more humor in his lines. Corey came really hard in that mid section with like 6 straight lines but the verse kinda had me wantin more i guess. the quality of lines just tapered. its a hard decision, either way I could see this going, but I got Hops takin it. ProperHops/v its that close, nice finish fellas.

i cant do those longass breakdowns. so take it or leave it.
i always feel awkward voting on corey battles as ive said, cuz i feel like he might take it the wrong way. but im honest when it comes to criticism, so.. its whatever. do whatever u want with it, im just voting cuz its the finals. imo, honestly, i dont think this was close. hops took this easy. he was slightly better in every category.. corey started nice, but then his verse kinda went everywhere. hops did too a bit, but as an overall verse, it stuck together more. u both had nice lines, clever lines, dope lines, ok lines, etc etc but corey took a more standard approach while hops had more .. new stuff? granted, lines like parasailing was nice but shits not new. but i never seen lines like behind the times and bob barker, although i cant believe i havent seen that one yet. corey opened real nice, but no real fresh haymakers.. on the overall verse tip, hops was funnier / wittier so he gets the advantage, and he was also smoother in the setup / how the lines were put together.. i just got the impression that corey was pushing it a bit with some of them and less focused.. so yea. it was a decent battle tho. v/ hops [sQ] |
