I was inspired to write this to my brother Tylah in jail after my second Bro Rhys was sent down. Love you guys.
Im new to this place though I used to once write a few things when i was younger around here, I'd appreciate some feedback, I wanna get my material out there. Bro, You've walked a yellow brick road But with both eyes closed I came from the streets to the cross We lived gritty like the lost You was street wise, im head smart These brothers cry when apart Street crime, we went hard Ones back and forth, one avoided the bars Like bad boys, but annoyed with half The mistake we make We walked a road we didn't create And the minute you goto get up It felt like the setup Cus' your past tends to not let you pass So you've got the strength Bend the rule at last Are we two of Gods, or just two street lads? So enough with the nonsense Its tough, but that makes no sense You've lived rough, thats how your road went And your still turnin that 1st bend Bruv', there aint many saints in these endz' N' the easy days seem dreams away And what you want aint on the cards But dont worry its written in stars So are you big enough to be this? Can thugs become believers? I wont hang up my hood Til' The Good Lord leads us... © 2008 Ryan B |

hmm, not bad. you drew out some good imagery, but on some parts you general "going through some bad times" you should give examples b/c it puts the readers in question. But if not i understand, some bad times are too personal to express... until later. flowed okay.
